Leonardo Cordova Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Jones Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
Speeding Suspected in Fatal Motorcycle Accident near Desert Inn Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 28, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a motorcycle crash on Jones Boulevard claimed the life of Leonardo Cordova.
The crash happened along Jones Boulevard and Desert Inn Road at 1:20 a.m. on June 10th.
According to MPD, the rider in a 1999 Harley Davidson model FXR2, crashed at the back of a stopped 2017 Toyota Camry at the traffic light.
The events leading to the collision remain unknown, but police suspected the motorcyclist was running at a high speed.
Unfortunately, responding officials pronounced the rider, Leonardo Cordova, 58, dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver remained, showed no signs of intoxication, and cooperated with the authorities.
An active investigation is still ongoing at this time, but police believe speed played a role.
