Male Rider Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Golden Wheel Park Drive
SAN JOSE, CA (June 21, 2023) – An unidentified motorcyclist died in a fatal crash on Oakland Road with a truck on Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened around 3:32 p.m. on June 4th, at the intersection of Golden Wheel Park Drive and Oakland Road.
According to the San Jose Police Department, a major traffic injury happened involving a parked truck and a male motorcyclist. No person is inside the truck at the time of the accident.
Responding personnel arrived in the area immediately and transported the unidentified rider to a local hospital but eventually succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, SJDP advised people to avoid the area for a few hours that day to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. The roadway has since been reopened to the public.
At this time, an active investigation is still underway to determine the cause of the fatal crash on Oakland Road. More information will be released once available.
