58-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Skyline Boulevard

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA (June 21, 2023) – Saturday morning, Eric Hull was killed in a motorcycle accident along Highway 35. 

The incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. on State Route 35, near Page Mill Road.

According to reports, Hull, on a Harley Davidson motorcycle attempted to pass a Toyota 4 Runner. However, the SUV driver made a left turn to enter a private driveway, causing the motorcyclist to side-swipe the Toyota. The motorcycle then left the roadway and hit a tree.

Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. There, they pronounced the motorcyclist, 58-year-old Eric Hull of Boulder Creek, dead at the scene.

At this time, it is unclear whether the Toyota driver suffered injuries from the collision. Additionally, California Highway Patrol is investigating if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal incident.
