Anthony Holloway Killed in Rollover Crash at South Durango Drive [Las Vegas, NV]
Sherell Dupree and Erika Gibbons Hurt in Vehicular Crash near West Desert Inn Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 20, 2023) – Sunday morning, Anthony Holloway lost his life after a single-car rollover crash on South Durango Road.
The accident occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on April 30th, at South Durango Drive, north of West Desert Inn Road.
According to reports, Holloway was traveling northbound in a 2021 Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed, approaching West Road when he lost control.
The vehicle then swerved off the roadway, colliding with signs and landscaping before landing on its passenger side in a private driveway on South Durango Drive.
Emergency crews arrived to the site of the collision shortly after. Paramedics transported Holloway, Sherell Dupree, 31, a passenger in the car, and Erica Gibbons, 36, a pedestrian struck by debris, to UMC for treatment.
Meanwhile, police said that the driver, 32-year-old Anthony Holloway succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
At this time, investigators are unsure as to what caused the driver to veer off the road. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
