Teenager Hospitalized after Rollover Collision near Justine Avenue
REEDLEY, CA (June 19, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a teen was airlifted to a hospital after a bicycle accident on Springfield Avenue.
The crash happened at around 2:13 p.m. on May 17th in the area of Springfield and Justine Avenue.
Reedley police reported that the driver lost control and flipped his truck after colliding with a parked car. While rolling, the truck struck a teenage boy riding a bike on the sidewalk.
It then flipped again and came to rest on a front yard fence of a home. The teen was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital with a broken arm and leg.
California Highway Patrol offices are still investigating the rollover crash on Springfield Avenue. Once available, further details will be provided.
