Three-Car Collision near East 18th Street Kills 23-Year-Old Bakersfield Man
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 19, 2023) – Thursday morning, Brandon Jeremy Latronica Jr was killed in a traffic collision on Union Avenue.
Police responded to the crash on May 18th, at approximately 10:04 a.m. at the intersection of Union Avenue and East 18th Street.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that the majority of the parties involved sustained minor injuries from the incident. Reports indicated that at least three vehicles were involved in the crash.
However, paramedics transported one driver to Kern Medical after receiving major injuries. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the hospital five hours later.
Later, authorities identified the deceased driver as 23-year-old Brandon Jeremy Latronica Jr.
Bakersfield Officials were unable to determine if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
