Male Rider Killed in Motorcycle Collision on Howard Road [Stockton, CA]
Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near West Undine Road
STOCKTON, CA (June 7, 2023) – Wednesday morning, one rider was fatally struck in a motorcycle collision on Howard Road.
Police responded to the scene around 5:39 a.m., just west of Undine Road.
Investigators say the driver of a gray Acura was heading west on Howard Road while a motorcyclist on Harley Davidson was traveling east. For reasons under investigation, the driver of the Acura veered across the solid double yellow lines and struck the motorcyclist head-on.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto a nearby dirt field. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the Acura driver sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. Following preliminary duties, police did not make any arrests.
