One Hospitalized after DUI Collision near James Court
SANTA ROSA, CA (June 7, 2023) – Sunday evening, police arrested Eric Perez-Martinez after a DUI accident on Dutton Avenue.
The incident occurred around 9:16 p.m., at the 1600 block of Dutton Avenue near James Court.
According to reports, the driver of a black Honda Civic struck a parked Honda CR-V with an occupant inside. Upon impact, one of the vehicles rolled over causing significant damage.
Responding emergency personnel rushed the Honda CR-V occupant to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate head injuries.
Following preliminary investigations, officers arrested the Honda Civic driver for felony DUI after showing signs of intoxication. Police later identified the suspect as 25-year-old Eric Perez-Martinez, of Santa Rosa.
Authorities booked Perez-Martinez into the Sonoma County Jail on a $100,000 bail. Once available, further details will be provided.
