Jesse Moore Killed in 2-Car Accident on Highway 46 [Cholame, CA]
31-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Highway 41
CHOLAME, CA (June 5, 2023) – Tuesday night, Jesse Moore was killed and two others were hurt in a 2-car accident on Highway 46.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 7:15 p.m., at the “Y” intersection near Highway 41 on May 30th.
Per reports, Kayleigh Pearson was driving a Ford Explorer east with Emma Pearson in the passenger seat.
For reasons unknown, the Ford driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic and turned directly into the path of a westbound Toyota Rav4. Medics arrived and transported the Toyota driver, 31-year-old Moore of Gilroy, to Twin Cities Community Hospital where he later died.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Kayleigh, of Hanford and 41-year-old Emma sustained minor injuries.
Following preliminary duties, no arrests were made. Failure to yield to the right-of-way was suspected as a factor and alcohol was ruled out. At this time, an active investigation is still ongoing.
