Deadly Fiery Car Accident near Rio Salado Left One Person Dead
TEMPE, AZ (May 3, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, one person died following a crash near Scottsdale Road, police said.
On April 26th, at around 3:00 a.m., officers responded to the area where they located a vehicle engulfed in flames.
According to the police, one person was still inside the vehicle while it was submerged in the fire.
Furthermore, the firefighters put out the fire and extricated the person inside. Unfortunately, the person was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, there was no information available on the identity of the victim at this time.
Consequently, the deputies blocked the intersection throughout the morning until it was reopened.
No additional information was released by the officials and an active investigation is still ongoing.
