Man Killed in 4-Vehicle Accident on Telegraph Avenue [Oakland, CA]
51-Year-Old Alameda Man Pronounced Dead after Rear-End Collision near 27th Street
OAKLAND, CA (April 26, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, one man was killed in a 4-vehicle accident on Telegraph Avenue.
The deadly collision happened around 2:18 a.m., at the 2700 block of Telegraph Avenue near 27th Street.
Per reports, the driver of a southbound Toyota Tacoma rear-ended a Mazda CX-9 SUV for reasons unknown. Upon impact, the Mazda was pushed into the back a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Camry.
Medics arrived and transported the 51-year-old male Tacoma driver to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Meanwhile, the other parties involved were listed in stable condition.
Following preliminary duties, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident. At this time, Oakland Officials continue to investigate the deadly four-vehicle crash.
