Car vs. Light Pole Crash on Sassafras Way Left Two Injured

ANTELOPE, CA (April 19, 2023) – Friday night, a solo-car crash on Antelope Road sent at least two people to a hospital. 

The crash occurred on March 10th, in the evening near the intersection of Antelope Road and Sassafras Way. 

According to the investigators, the car collided with a light pole and rolled over. However, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. 

Eventually, fire personnel arrived at the scene and extricated one person from inside the vehicle. Reports said that the other occupant managed to get themselves out. 

Emergency responders transported both patients to a hospital, one suffering from critical injuries and another with moderate injuries. 

At this time, the identities of the parties involved have not been released to the public. It was not clear if drugs or alcohol contributed to the incident. 

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the solo-vehicle crash.
