32-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after DUI Pedestrian Accident on Palisades Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 19, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Ashleigh Lawrence was killed in a DUI crash on West Sunset Boulevard.
Police responded to the scene around 12:45 a.m., at the 17400 block of West Sunset Boulevard near Palisades Drive on April 8th.
According to reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a group of pedestrians and vehicles parked on Pacific Coast Highway.
The impact pushed multiple vehicles into the rocks where pedestrians were seated. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 32-year-old Lawrence, of Los Angeles dead at the scene.
In addition, crews transported one person to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Multiple others also suffered various injuries.
Following preliminary duties, officers arrested the 21-year-old driver for felony DUI. Once available, further details will be provided.
