Rider Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on Riverview Avenue

WINTER GARDENS, CA (April 19, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, two victims sustained injuries in a motor crash on Riverview Avenue.

Police responded to the scene just before 3:00 p.m., near Lemon Crest Drive.

Per reports, a 19-year-old man was heading north on a black 1985 Yamaha motor when he lost control. As a result, the rider crashed and was ejected onto the road.

Shortly after, the driver of a southbound 2012 Toyota Camry struck the rider who was down on the road.

Medical personnel arrived and transported the rider and the driver to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

At this time, it was unknown why the rider lost control of his motorcycle. Once available, further details will be provided.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
