Four Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on Avenue 7 [Madera, CA]
Four Injured in Two-Car Collision near Road 25
MADERA, CA (April 5, 2023) – Monday morning, a head-on crash on Avenue 7 left at least four people with injuries.
The collision happened around 11:30 a.m., just west of Road 25.
According to reports, a 2014 Nissan Sentra veered off the paved portion of the highway and over-corrected. The Nissan turned left into the oncoming lane and collided with an eastbound 2019 Toyota Camry.
Paramedics said the 25-year-old female passenger of the Sentra was pinned upon impact and sustained moderate injuries. Another passenger from the Toyota received unspecified injuries.
In addition, the 28-year-old male driver of the Nissan and the 33-year-old female driver of the Toyota suffered from significant injuries. All patients were transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities said the drugs or alcohol did not play a factor in the incident.
