33-Year-Old Man Dies after DUI Accident on Villa Street

SALINAS, CA (April 3, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, authorities arrested Annie Kerr following a fatal DUI crash on West Market Street.

The incident happened on March 26th, at around 2:00 p.m., near the intersection of West Market Street and Villa Street.

According to reports, 32-year-old Kerr was traveling eastbound on West Market with her small SUV when she collided head-on with a vehicle with three male occupants.

As a result, one man died and the two occupants suffered injuries with a 31-year-old man left in critical condition. Additionally, the 32-year-old man suffered minor injuries and has been released from the hospital.

Investigation showed that Kerr was driving twice the speed limit. Police arrested her on charges of vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
