37-Year-Old Woman Taken Into Custody after DUI Collision near Indian School Road
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (March 24, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, authorities arrested Caylynn Simpson following a DUI accident on 82nd Place.
The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m., near Indian School Road on March 18th.
Per reports, Simpson was driving a Toyota Tacoma and struck four police vehicles. In addition, she hit an officer that was standing near one of the vehicles and a detained passenger in the rear seat.
Medics arrived and transported the two victims that were hit to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
In addition, towing services were required to remove two severely damaged police vehicles from the scene.
Meanwhile, police officers arrested 37-year-old Simpson and took her into custody at the Scottsdale City Jail for DUI charges, including Extreme DUI and Reckless Driving & Endangerment.
