20-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Northborough Drive
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 15, 2023) – Friday morning, a woman was fatally injured in a wrong-way crash on Elkhorn Boulevard.
Police responded to the scene around 8:30 a.m., on Northborough Drive near the North Natomas Central Mutual Water Company.
According to reports, the driver of an eastbound Honda Civic veered into the westbound lanes and collided head-on with a van.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the female driver of the Honda dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released her name or place of residency.
Paramedics also said the male driver of the van sustained minor injuries.
No further details regarding the Elkhorn Boulevard two-vehicle crash have been released to the public. Sacramento Officials will provide more information once available.
