17-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash near Stockton Boulevard

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (March 13, 2023) – Thursday morning, a speeding motorcyclist was killed following a motorcycle crash on Elsie Avenue. 

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m., just east of Stockton Boulevard.

According to reports, a 2004 Honda Accord, driven by a 71-year-old man, was going west on Elsie. He paused in the left turn lane to wait for traffic to clear before turning left into the business parking lot.

Meanwhile, a teen, on a Kawasaki Ninja 600, was driving towards the intersection of Stockton Boulevard on Mack Road at an excessively high speed. As the rider approached the stalled traffic, he tried to avoid the cars but the Kawasaki collided with the right side of the Honda.

First responders to the collision declared the 17-year-old motorcyclist dead at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed to the public.

Meanwhile, the 71-year-old male Honda driver from Sacramento stayed at the site of the incident and cooperated with the investigators.
