IMPERIAL BEACH, CA (February 28, 2023) – Monday morning, a rollover crash on Palm Avenue left two teens with injuries.
The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the 700 block of Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach.
According to a witness, a northbound Toyota RAV-4 lost control after hitting the south curb line while traveling at a high rate of speed. Consequently, the Toyota rolled over multiple times over city-landscape vegetation and hit several light posts, west of State Route 75.
Following the collision, bystanders helped a female out of the wreckage. Meanwhile, responding emergency personnel extricated a male using Jaws of Life. Paramedics then rushed them to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
