36-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Vehicle Accident on Solano Drive
PHOENIX, AZ (February 27, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a hit-and-run crash on 27th Avenue claimed the life of Martin Aguilar.
The incident happened on February 18th, at around 1:30 a.m., near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Solano Drive.
According to investigations, Aguilar was crossing mid-block on the street when he was struck by the vehicle. The impact of the collision left him seriously injured. Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle drove off without rendering aid to the victim. Witnesses report that he headed northbound on 27th Avenue.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and transported Aguilar to a local hospital for treatment. There, medics pronounced 36-year-old Martin Aguilar dead, due to the extent of his condition.
