Hit-and-Run Crash near Venezia Boulevard Left Rider Dead

STOCKTON, CA (February 20, 2023) – Late Monday afternoon, a hit-and-run collision on March Lane claimed the life of a motorcyclist. 

The fatal incident happened just before 5:30 p.m. near Venezia Boulevard.

According to reports, a motorcycle collided with a vehicle leaving the rider with serious injuries. At this time, the cause of the collision remains unknown. Additionally, the involved vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

First responders to the crash transported the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital. There, medics pronounced the rider dead due to the extent of their injuries. The identity of the deceased rider has not yet been released.

Following the collision, crews shut down the area surrounding the crash, near the intersection of March Lane and Venezia Boulevard, for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No further details regarding the hit-and-run on March Lane have been released to the public.
