36-Year-Old Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on McDowell Road
PHOENIX, AZ (February 20, 2023) – Saturday night, Lucian Mosoianu was fatally struck in a DUI pedestrian crash on 83rd Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 8:34 p.m., near McDowell Road on February 11th.
According to reports, the driver of a westbound SUV struck Mosoianu on McDowell Road as he was crossing the intersection diagonally.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 36-year-old Mosoianu dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, police determined that the driver was impaired. As a result, officers cited the driver for driving under the influence.
