67-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Collision near Bisby Lake Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 20, 2023) – Monday morning, Dana Terry was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash on Navajo Road.
The deadly collision occurred just before 6:00 a.m., at the intersection of Navajo Road and Bisby Lake Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a 2020 Kia Soul ran through a red light directly into the path of a westbound 1986 Yamaha SRX-6 motorcycle. After applying his brakes in attempt to avoid a collision, the rider lost control and struck the Kia.
Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road. Responding personnel arrived and transported 67-year-old Terry, of El Cajon to Sharp Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Medics later pronounced him dead due to multiple blunt force injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities took the 51-year-old female Kia driver in custody; however, police did not clarify the charges. At this time, the San Bernardino Police Department traffic division is in charge of the investigation.
