Man Injured in Bicycle Collision on Pacific Highway [San Diego, CA]
63-year-old Rider Hospitalized after Bicycle Accident at Pacific Highway
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 17, 2023) – On Saturday, a 63-year-old man sustained injuries after a bicycle crash on Pacific Highway.
The incident took place along 4900 Pacific Highway at around 7:45 p.m. on January 21st.
Authorities responded after receiving reports that a white 2008 Toyota Corolla rear-ended a bicyclist for unknown reasons.
Paramedics then transferred the bicyclist to a nearby hospital with multiple serious injuries. Police stated that the rider did not have any lights or reflectors on his bike before to the crash.
At this time, officers have no information about the victim’s name and current condition.
Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
