Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run near North Main Avenue
FALLBROOK, CA ( February 17, 2023) – Sunday evening, a hit-and-run on East View Street claimed the life of Nathan Garcia.
The incident happened on February 5th, at around 9:40 p.m., near the intersection of East View Street and North Main Street.
According to reports, Garcia was walking on the street when he was struck by a blue sedan traveling west of View Street. The impact of the collision left Garcia with serious injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle then fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. Medics pronounced 21-year-old Nathan Garcia, of Fallbrook, dead at the scene.
At this time, officials are working to identify the hit-and-run suspect, no arrests have been announced.
