37-Year-Old Adelanto Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Crash on Bear Valley Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (January 25, 2023) – Sunday evening, Hector Pineda was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Hesperia Road.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:15 p.m., near Bear Valley Road and Jasmi Street.

According to Victorville Police Deputy Espinoza, a citizen flagged her down while she was doing a welfare check in the area. Deputies eventually learned that a man walked out of a clinic on Hesperia road and stepped directly into the vehicle’s path.

Due to the extent of his condition, 35-year-old Pineda succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital.
