26-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run near Salinas High School in Subway Parking Lot
SALINAS, CA (January 25, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, Adrian Santos was arrested and a man was hurt in a hit-and-run on South Main Street.
The collision happened in front of Salinas High School in a Subway parking lot on December 12th.
After a fight broke out, Santos drove his BMW over the victim and dragged him before fleeing the scene. Medics arrived and transported the 26-year-old male victim to Natividad Hospital with significant injuries.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers located and arrested 19-year-old Santos, of Salinas on the 1000 block of Longfellow Drive. Authorities booked Santos into the Monterey County Jail for attempted murder and several other charges.
At this time, the victim’s identity remains undisclosed. Those with further information are encouraged to contact Salinas Officials as soon as possible.
