58-Year-Old Man Dead after Pedestrian Accident near 35th Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (January 23, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, a hit-and-run crash near Glendale Avenue claimed the life of Andrew Pyles.

The incident happened on January 14th, at around 3:55 a.m., near the intersection of Glendale Avenue and 35th Avenue.

According to reports, Pyles was crossing the street at Glendale Avenue when a black SUV struck him. The driver of the SUV then failed to stop and render aid to the victim and left the scene instead.

First responders to the crash found the victim unresponsive on the road. Officials pronounced 58-year-old Andrew Pyles dead at the scene.
