Hit-and-Run Incident near Serrano Avenue Left an Elderly Woman Dead
HOLLYWOOD, CA (January 20, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident on Sunset Boulevard claimed the life of an 80-year-old woman, Monday morning.
The incident happened around 7:00 a.m., in a crosswalk at Sunset Boulevard near Serrano Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after. Per reports, the elderly woman was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in East Hollywood.
Despite life-saving efforts, the elderly woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital. At this time, no description was released of the suspect or vehicle.
The identity of the deceased victim remains unavailable, pending notification from the next of kin. An active investigation is currently underway.
