64-Year-Old Man Dead after Car Accident on West Forest Lawn Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 20, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, Igor Khanenko died in a two-vehicle collision in Griffith Park.
Medical personnel responded to the scene around 12:50 p.m., at the 6300 block of West Forest Lawn Drive.
One of the drivers involved sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities.
Later, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the deceased person as 64-year-old Igor Khanenko of North Hills.
A large portion of the surrounding area was temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. No other injuries were reported.
