Two Men Hospitalized after Car Crashes into House near Wilkie Way
YUBA CITY, CA (January 20, 2023) – Thursday night, a two-vehicle crash into a home injured driver Anthony Olivera and his passenger.
The incident happened on January 12th, at a home near the intersection of Cooper Avenue and Wilkie Way.
According to reports, Anthony Olivera and his passenger were traveling in a blue Dodge Durango. Olivera lost control of the vehicle and the Durango struck a white Chevrolet Silverado. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to crash into the porch of a home. As a result, the roof of the porch collapsed.
First responders to the scene transported Olivera and his passenger to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. None of the occupants of the home were harmed in the collision.
Police believe that at the time of the incident, Olivera was driving under the influence. Charges against him are currently pending.
