56-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Peach Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (January 16, 2023) – Friday morning, a pedestrian accident on Nees Avenue claimed the life of Lisa Booth.

Authorities responded to the scene around 6:30 a.m., near Peach Avenue on January 6th.

Per reports, Booth was crossing within a marked crosswalk on South Nees when the the driver of a passing utility van struck her.

First responders arrived and rushed 56-year-old Booth, of Clovis to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. However, she later died from her injuries on Monday.

Meanwhile, the driver of the van remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, officials ruled out impairment as a potential factor.
