Man Killed, Adrian Moreno Involved in 2-Car Accident on Highway 152 [Gilroy, CA]
25-Year-Old North Hollywood Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Lovers Lane
GILROY, CA (January 13, 2022) – Saturday morning, a man was killed and Adrian Moreno was involved in a 2-car accident on Highway 152.
First responders arrived to the scene around 5:55 a.m., just east of Lovers Lane.
Per reports, the driver of an eastbound 2004 Toyota crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into the side of a 2020 Volvo in the oncoming lanes.
Upon impact, the Toyota veered off the south edge of Highway 152 and came to rest facing the southern direction. Meanwhile, the Volvo veered west and stopped on the eastbound lanes, blocking traffic.
Responding authorities declared the 25-year-old male Toyota driver dead at the scene. However, their identity remains undisclosed.
The condition of the Volvo driver, 53-year-old Moreno, of Tulare is unknown.
No further details regarding the two-vehicle crash on Highway 152 have been released to the public. However, Gilroy Officials will provide more information once available.
