17-Year-Old Boy Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash near Blackfoot Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 19, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a solo-vehicle accident on Zuni Road claimed the life of Daniel Torres.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 1:39 p.m., on a dirt field near Blackfoot Road on December 13th.

For reasons currently unknown, a white truck, occupied by Torres, crashed in a dirt lot, leaving him with serious injuries.

First responders arrived shortly after and transported Torres to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Apple Valley. At the hospital, medics pronounced 17-year-old Daniel “Danny” Torres dead, due to the extent of his injuries.

Meanwhile, Torres’ relatives have created a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
