Man Hospitalized after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision on Avenue 280 [Tulare, CA]
Male Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash near Road 140
TULARE, CA (December 15, 2022) – Saturday night, one man was hospitalized following a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on Avenue 280.
Police responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m., just east of Road 140 on December 3rd.
Officers say the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking along the southbound shoulder. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene heading east toward Farmersville.
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the male victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment of major injuries.
No additional information was added and police are asking for the public’s help to find the driver. Anyone with information is asked to contact Visalia California Highway Patrol at 559-734-6767.
Furthermore, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
