22-Year-Old Rider Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision near Encanto Boulevard

PHOENIX, AZ (December 15, 2022) – Friday night, a motorcycle hit-and-run accident at 75th Avenue claimed the life of Mario Aguirre

The incident occurred around 8:27 p.m., near Encanto Boulevard, just south of Thomas Road.

According to reports, Aguirre was riding south on 75th Avenue when a vehicle turned onto Encanto Boulevard from 75th Avenue and collided with his bike. Upon impact, the driver immediately fled the scene without contacting authorities.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding officers pronounced 22-year-old Aguirre dead at the scene.
