66-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Kendall Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 15, 2022) – Late Thursday night, one man was hospitalized after a pedestrian collision on Grand Avenue.
The incident happened around 10:00 p.m., near Kendall Street in Pacific Beach.
According to the police, the driver of an eastbound Toyota Camry struck a man trying to cross the roadway. Reports stated that the pedestrian crossed in an unmarked crosswalk and directly into the path of the Camry.
Due to the impact of the crash, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries. Paramedics rushed the 66-year-old patient to a nearby hospital for immediate medical treatment.
It was unclear whether the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
