Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Collision near Waterman Canyon Road
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (December 14, 2022) – Tuesday night, a head-on accident on Highway 18 left at least two people with injuries.
The collision happened around 10:30 p.m., between upper and lower Old Waterman Canyon Road.
According to San Bernardino authorities, the driver of an SUV collided head-on with a pickup-truck. For reasons unknown, a third vehicle also became involved.
Witnesses say the SUV driver made a U-turn and started heading into the oncoming lanes when the initial impact occurred. Both directions of the roadway were briefly shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, before they were later reopened.
Paramedics arrived and transported two people to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Once available, further details will be provided.
