Man and Woman Killed in Suspected DUI Accident on East Toni Drive [Covina, CA]
Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Grand Avenue
COVINA, CA (December 9, 2022) – Saturday morning, two victims were killed in a suspected DUI accident on East Toni Drive.
First responders arrived to the scene around 7:30 a.m., near Grand Avenue on December 3rd.
According to reports, the driver of an Acura struck two parked vehicles. Police also believe the driver was speeding at the time.
Emergency crews transported the Acura driver to a hospital where they were later arrested under suspicion of DUI.
Moreover, medics pronounced a 30-year-old woman dead at the scene. Paramedics also took a man to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Officers closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, police have not yet released the identities of those involved.
