41-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Royal Palm Drive
FREMONT, CA (December 8, 2022) – Friday morning, a pedestrian crash on Blacow Road and Royal Palm Drive claimed the life of a woman.
The incident happened on December 2nd, at approximately 7:42 a.m., near the intersection of Blacow Road and Royal Palm Drive.
According to reports, the 41-year-old pedestrian was on the southeast corner of Blacow Road at Calaveras Avenue, waiting for the light to turn green. When she received the walk signal, she began crossing the street, but was struck by a vehicle driven by a 43-year-old woman.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and she showed no signs of impairment. Officials have not released any further information regarding the crash.
