70-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Fatal Collision on 13th Street
SAN PEDRO, CA (December 7, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on South Pacific Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 5:10 a.m., near 13th Street on December 5th.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that the driver of a sanitation truck struck a pedestrian in the area.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the 70-year-old male pedestrian dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, the truck driver was not arrested and a thorough investigation is being handled by the Valley Traffic Division.
