Michael Barrios Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Atascadero Road [Morro Bay, CA]
69-Year-Old Man Fatally Injured in Hill Street Motorcycle Accident
MORRO BAY, CA (December 7, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a motorcycle-truck collision on Atascadero Road claimed the life of Michael Barrios.
The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. at the 500 block of Atascadero Road, just east of Hill Street.
According to the police, an eastbound motorcycle struck a truck exiting a business driveway. Both parties cooperated with the responding officers.
Paramedics transported the rider to a local hospital for immediate medical attention. Due to the extent of his condition, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. Authorities later identified the deceased rider as 69-year-old Barrios.
Additionally, the driver of the truck was also later identified to be 51-year-old Efren Morales.
