Man Run Over by Crane Truck in Deadly Accident on Belmont Avenue
FRESNO, CA (December 7, 2022) – Thursday morning, a male pedestrian was fatally struck by a crane truck accident on Parkway Drive.
The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m., near Belmont Avenue on December 1st.
According to reports, the crane truck was stopped on the southbound side of Parkway Drive and attempted to make a turn on Belmont Avenue. There, the pedestrian tried to cross in front of the crane and was struck by the vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced the male victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Following preliminary duties, police have said that the height of the vehicle was a factor in the crane truck accident on Parkway Drive.
