Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near Schnell School Road
PLACERVILLE, CA (December 7, 2022) – Monday evening, three victims sustained injuries in a wrong-way accident on Highway 50.
The collision happened around 9:20 p.m., just east of Schnell School Road. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
According to police, the incident involved a wrong-way driver. Officials blocked lanes near the incident for roughly half an hour before it was later reopened.
Responding medical personnel transported two patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Meanwhile, medics treated another person at the scene with minor injuries.
