Gregoria Barraza Mendez Killed in Fiery Crash on Van Ness Avenue [Inglewood, CA]
51-Year-Old Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision on Imperial Highway
INGLEWOOD, CA (December 6, 2022) – Saturday night, police responded to a crash on Van Ness Avenue that claimed the life of Gregoria Barraza Mendez.
The incident took place on December 3rd, at Van Ness Avenue and Imperial Highway at around 10:40 p.m.
According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area, and one of the vehicles ended up in fire. Mendez was in one of the two vehicles involved, she sustained serious injuries.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene and found Mendez on the highway. Officials pronounced 51-year-old Gregoria Barraza Mendez dead at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities transported two other people to the hospital for treatment.
No other information was released and the cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
