Female Tesla Driver Arrested after DUI Accident near Daily Road
MENIFEE, CA (December 5, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a woman was arrested and multiple were hurt in a 5-car crash on Scott Road.
Dispatchers responded to the scene around 12:15 p.m., near Daily Road on November 26th.
Witnesses say the driver of an eastbound Tesla was traveling recklessly on Scott Road. Shortly after, the Tesla collided with a Toyota sedan, a Ford SUV, a Kia sedan, and a Jeep Wrangler.
Paramedics transported the drivers of the Ford and the Jeep to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Additionally, crews took some occupants from inside the Toyota to a hospital for precaution.
During preliminary duties, officers determined that the female driver of the Tesla was under the influence of a controlled substance. As a result, she was arrested for DUI.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
