Female Passenger Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near 5th Street
YUBA CITY, CA (November 28, 2022) – Sunday morning, a woman was killed and two were injured in a 2-car accident on Bridge Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 8:00 a.m., on the westbound lanes of Bridge Street on November 20th.
Per reports, the driver of a Toyota Rav4 made an unsafe turn and struck and Ford E350. The Ford was occupied by its driver and one passenger while the Toyota was occupied by its driver and two passengers.
Medics arrived and pronounced the female passenger inside the Ford dead at the scene while the driver of the Ford remained uninjured.
Meanwhile, the driver and one passenger inside the Toyota suffered injuries.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
Following preliminary duties, alcohol or drugs were not considered potential factors in the collision. However, further events leading up to the deadly collision are still under active investigation.
