One Killed, Two Hospitalized after Head-On Collision on Lake Drive [Lake Stevens, WA]
Two-Car Collision on State Route 92 Claimed the Life of One
LAKE STEVENS, WA (November 28, 2022) – Thursday, police responded to a head-on collision on Lake Drive that killed one and injured two.
The crash happened around 1:18 p.m., near the intersection of Lake Drive and State Route 92, per initial reports.
According to authorities, a black Chevy Silverado crossed over the center divider, for reasons unknown, and collided head-on with a Lexus sedan.
First responders declared one unidentified man dead at the scene, while two others were hospitalized in a critical condition.
Furthermore, officials have yet to release the identities of any of the involved parties at this time.
Additionally, police closed the road for approximately four hours to allow during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, although impairment is suspected to be a contributing factor.
An active investigation is currently ongoing.
