Man Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Grand Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Male Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision near Indian School Road
PHOENIX, AZ (November 28, 2022) – Monday night, one man was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 7:00 p.m., just northwest of 35th Avenue and Indian School Road on November 21st.
Per reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck a man who was standing along the curb. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured victim.
Officers arrived and pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
Following preliminary duties, police did not release a description of the suspect vehicle. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, further details will be provided to the public about the pedestrian accident on Grand Avenue.
